How To Provoke God's Intervention
Deuteronomy 7:9
Deuteronomy 7 [9]Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
Covenant means a strong binding relationship between two people and in this case, it is a binding relationship between God and man. It is an unchangeable and 'non-revocable' relationship between God and man.
Covenant relationship with God can Provoke the manifestation of fire on the enemies and deliverance for the people of God. The covenant relationship Abraham had with God affected and delivered his nephew(Lot) from destruction in sodom and Gomorrah.
So, when you have a covenant relationship with God, it does not only profit you, it profits anybody related, associated and connected you. This means that your relationship with God can save and deliver your spouse, children, siblings, etc. It can cause an intervention to happen for you. That is why, beloved, you must not relent in the the things you do in your relationship with God; you must not relent in your service to God.
A day will come when what you did for God will speak for your children, parents, brothers, etc. A day will come when God is going to see what you did for Him and use it to save somebody.
Assignment: If you have not yet entered into a covenant relationship with God, do so by inviting Him into your life.
Avoid saying or doing things that will affect your relationship with God.
Prayer: Lord, I enter into a covenant relationship with you today, in Jesus's name.
