Never Loose Focus
1 Samuel:17:48-49
And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came, and drew nigh to meet David, that David hastened, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
This story challenges me each time I go through it. David, the little guy ran towards Goliath the giant, before this time, the Israelite army ran backwards at the entrance of Goliath, but when it got
to David, he didn't go back, he went to meet the giant coming towards him, that's God's strategy for battle.
David advanced towards Goliath to get a clearer shot, to move backwards is to loose focus, and to loose focus is to loose your life. I saw a film recently and a guy said, "the only thing standing between you and your victory in this war is a CLEAR SHOT".
We are in the days of fulfilment of prophecies, the kingdom of darkness is out for God's people, and the strategy is to bring down kingdom giants, the devil wants to bring you down because he is scared of you. once the giants of a city is captured, that city is already conquered and so the giants better stay on course and stay focused lest they be distracted and captured, that is you; you are the giant the devil is scared of. Stay on course.
Never let any situation get you off your feet, don't look back, don't be distracted.
Maintain focus throughout the year, because you are just a clear shot away from victory against the devil..
