STAND OUT
Philippians 2:15
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
As Christians, we are ambassadors of Heaven. Jesus, our Lord, is not bodily available on earth but His existence on earth should be made manifest through us because He lives in us. The unbelievers, as we know them, expect more from us Christians. It's close to normal for an unbeliever to smoke,
fornicate, get drunk, no body will make news out of that, but if a Christian brother tries such, He'll be criticized, insulted and oftentimes isolated. And then we think the world hates us when they react in such way, no, they do not, they just will not accept less from us.
We are born to stand out, our lifestyle as Christians should point people to heaven. We should be good examples worthy of emulation. Our lifestyle should reflect Christ.
We are light in this dark world and therefore should reflect the very life of God. A thief should see us and stop stealing, a smoker should see us and forsake smoking, a liar should see us and be sober, that's the life we are to live on earth. I see you shining that light in Jesus Mighty Name.
Remember This: We are light in this dark world and therefore should reflect the very life of God.
Assignment: consciously make your life reflect Christ in all ramifications. Shine your light.
Prayer: dear Lord, I receive the grace to represent you well on earth, in Jesus Name.
