HIS VOICE TODAY
THE CLEANSING POWER OF THE WORD
Eph. 5:26
God has magnified His word above His Name and has highly rated His Word. He has given it to us as a gift to help us in our journey of life. In our lives,the word of God is like water for cleansing. Therefore, if the Word of God is in your life, it guarantees the purification of your spirit.
Anyone who is in touch with the Word of God will be in touch with constant cleansing power for His Spirit (PS. 119:9). Holiness is effortless if you have submitted to the constant ministry of the Word of God by making it the rule of your life.
The only way a man can cleanse his ways is by hearkening to the word of God. The Psalmist (David) in PS. 119:11 says, 'thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against you.' The abundance of godlessness, iniquity, lawlessness and abomination in the world, church, and our generation today is because many people are disconnected from the word of God.
When people are out of touch with the Word of God, they live lakes and sinful lives, thereby jeopardizing their eternity with God. To live a life of Holiness, purity, integrity and cleanliness, you have to constantly subject yourself to the Word of God because the word of God produces cleansing power.
Remember this:The only way a man can cleanse his ways is by hearkening to the word of God.
Assignment:
- Constantly meditate on God's word day and night for daily cleansing of your spirit.
- Daily put to practice what the word of God tells you so that you can live a pure Christian life.
PRAYER
Lord, I receive your engrafted WORD that is able to save my soul, in Jesus' Name.
