1 Samuel 30:1-19
17 And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which rode upon camels
The battles of life come unnoticed, the devil won't give you notice before he strikes, he just strikes. David never expected to meet the ruins of his homeland, he just came and saw it.
Listen friends, Christianity is not gentility, Christianity is not timidity, Christianity is aggressive tenacity, it's dogged brutality, that's why we have the warrior angels among the archangels.
Live on the offensive sir, don't be on the defensive, you don't wait for the devil to strike before you start preparing, strike him first. King David was always battle ready that's why he never lost a battle. No enemy should take you by surprise, be ever ready for battle.
Equip yourself with the word, prayer, fire, power, and enough spiritual intelligence now. It's catastrophic to start looking for weapons in the midst of a battle. Be an acidic Christian, not an ice cream Christian.
A timid and gentle Christian is a foolish and has no future because either you look for fight or not, fight will look for you so you had better been on the offensive to survive.
Don't pray for wars not to come, it's a waste of time, we are more than conquerors, conquerors are only found in battles.
