                                          Isa 55:10-11

The word of God has so many things to offer us which pertain to life and godliness. Also, God has given us exceeding great and precious promises so that we might be partakers of His Divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). The word of God is very important in the life of a believer.

The word of God is a spiritual rain.
The assignment of rain is to sponsor GROWTH and Development and that is why when the rain falls on the field, things grow. So, the word of God has the assignment of causing growth and development in the life and spirit of a person; it also eliminates dryness and heat in the lives of God's people.
That means that the absence of the word of God in the life of a Christian is responsible for spiritual underdevelopment and stunted growth. When you see a person who is not thriving spirituality, it is because the word of God is lacking in his life.


The absence of the word of God in the life of a person will result in fruitlessness with nothing to show as a Christian. The life of a child of God who is fruitful and connected to the Word of God is beneficially and generationally profitable.

There are people who sit in church as baby Christians, making no progress at all because the Word of God is lacking in their lives. May you not be one of such Christians, in Jesus' Name.

Remember this: the absence of the Word of God in the life of a Christian is responsible for spiritual underdevelopment and stunted growth.

Assignment:
         Make up your mind to read the Word of God daily.
         Have a Bible reading schedule.

          Lord, give me a hunger and a thirst for your word, in Jesus' Name.
